The fund’s activities will directly contribute to strengthening and enhancing the sector’s infrastructure, promoting sports activities within the community and achieving excellence in sports both regionally and internationally.

In line with the Singapore's plans to create a more diversified and sustainable economy, EIF will support its vision to become a top global tourism destination by 2030, welcoming 100 million visitors annually and increasing the contribution of the tourism sector to the GDP from its current rate of three percent to more than 10 percent.
